Little Britches depends on over 50 volunteers to help out during programs and also with fundraising, clerical work and other important duties. Teenagers and adults enjoy grooming and tacking the horses and ponies, and acting as horse leaders and side walkers during lessons.  We appreciate everything they do, and cannot run our lessons without their wonderful assistance.

Do you love horses? Do you love to be outdoors? Do you like to feel like you are making a difference? You can get all of these things from volunteering at Little Britches.

Each rider needs a maximum of 3 volunteers. Some riders may need less.

Our volunteers make our programs possible. Without them we would not be able to run.

There are many ways to volunteer for Little Britches:

Leaders - They are responsible for the horse. They groom and tack up the horse before programm starts, lead the horses during the lessons and put the horses away.

Side walkers - They assis the riders with the activities in the lesson. They reinforce what the instructor is telling the riders.

Fundraising / Event planning - Our program always needs help with raising funds. We have a fundraising committee that is looking for assistance with new ideas and ongoing projects.
